Benjamin Rendall – new executive chef of Jumeirah Vittaveli has been appointed recently to oversee the luxurious resort’s main restaurants; Mu (beachside restaurant), Samsara (Asian & International Restaurant), Fenesse (overwater restaurant) and the soon to be opened signature restaurant; Swarna.
The five star resort at Bolifushi Island appointed the excellent British Chef; Benjamin Rendall who brings over 45 years of culinary experience. He will be using his knowledge of diverse cuisines from cultures around the world to create a unique flair to the island hotel’s restaurants. Arriving to the island nation Maldives for the first time, Chef Ben recently worked as an executive chef at Marco Polo Ortigas Manila, Philippines for two years before moving on to Jumeirah Vittaveli.
The British Chef Ben earned his chef’s certification in the United Kingdom, in where he later worked in the kitchens of famous dining places such as the London’s Savoy Grill. In addition to that, Benjamin Rendall has run luxurious kitchens throughout the globe as an Executive and Regional Chef for luxury brands including; Shangri La, Mandarin Oriental and Le Meridien in China, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Bahrain.
